Principal's Message

Bursch Families,

Welcome to another wonderful school year at Charles Bursch Elementary! It is truly a privilege to serve as your principal. Every year, I am reminded of how special our Bursch community is, and I feel incredibly grateful to be surrounded by such amazing students, supportive families, dedicated staff, and caring community partners.

At Bursch, we want every child to feel that they belong, that they are valued, and that they can accomplish great things. Our dedicated staff works hard each day to create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, trying new things, making mistakes, and growing from their experiences. We believe that when we care for the whole child; academically, socially, and emotionally, students are better prepared to learn, grow, and succeed.

Our school-wide expectations of being Ready, Responsible, and Respectful are at the heart of who we are. These simple but meaningful expectations help our students build confidence, develop responsibility, and learn how to treat themselves and others with kindness and respect. Throughout the year, we will celebrate their accomplishments, encourage them when things get challenging, and remind them that every day is a new opportunity to learn and shine.

One of the things that makes Bursch so special is the partnership we share with our families. Your involvement makes a difference in your child's success, whether you attend school events, communicate with teachers, or encourage learning at home. Together, we can create a positive and successful experience for every student.
